This book was a whole beast. Like it was batshit crazy with gang wars, dark spice, mafia elements, fighting, obsession, blackmail, and more. But regardless, I thought it was good! i enjoyed the world Lola King created. One where everyone has layers, where the person you thought was evil and crazy, actually has real demons of their own. The MMC has barely any (if any at all) redeeming qualities and the FMC, despite her desire to get out of this life, still did bad shit in her past. But they find each other, and despite a ~~very~~ rocky start, they find love, and it was heartwarming to see two monsters find love and find that they deserve love as well.
That being said, it was a LOT so 3.5 stars for me ⭐️
