Immortal Rising by Lynsay Sands

5.0

I have read every book of this series, and while I agree that Ms. Sands is very humorous in her writing, it feels like the humor has tapered off for a while now. However, this book had me giggling/laughing the whole time. This felt like classic Sands from the first several books of this series. She was definitely hitting my funny bone with the almost flat-dry humor that Stephanie was dishing out. Thorne was no slouch either.

Basically, this book really got me wanting more from Ms. Sands. I've stuck with the series from the beginning because they are good books, but this book was better than just good. I look forward to future Argeneau books.

(And yes, I am aware that these are PNR, but I look for more in my PNR than just the sexy scenes. I love funny and witty PNR, and Ms. Sands has been in this genre for years, supplying me with laughs.)
