The Ruby Circle
by Richelle Mead
Wow. I can't believe it's over. I'm not sure my review is going to be completely coherent now, since I just finished reading this book, but I'm going to try my best to express my feelings.
I'm so sad that this world, the Bloodlines and Vampire Academy one, is coming to an end, at least for now. I care for these characters so deeply, it's kind of hard to admit I probably won't hear anything from them for a while. But at least, thanks to Richelle Mead, I know I leave them in happiness. This last book was the perfect conclusion to this amazing series. After what the characters have been through, I'm glad to know they finally all got the happy ending they deserved. I loved how in this last book, Mead made sure we saw all the characters more, even the ones that used to be sidelined. Eddie, Dimitri, Rose, Jackie, Daniella and even Zoe were more important in this book and we got to read and learn more about them.
Mead kept throwing plot twists in my face, and most of them were unpredictable. There are so many things that I had not expected to see happening and I gasped on more than one occasion. I cried, I laughed, I smiled and I panicked with these characters as their life went along. The only thing that I would mention is that sometimes it felt a little bit rushed. It was so action packed and some things should have been more described. But other than that, it was amazing.
And that epilogue! Richelle Mead, you should not be aloud to have that much power over me. It made me so happy! Everyone is getting the life they deserve and you can see there's a great future ahead of them. I'm convinced they're all going to live happily ever after, because they all deserve it so much.
