It’s always a bad sign when a book starts with an essay (written by a “New York Times bestselling author” I’ve never heard of) telling you that the book doesn’t actually suck. No, it’s actually a brilliant satire. All the critics just don’t appreciate the brilliance.)

Don’t  buy that nonsense. It may have some satire within, but it’s largely just a very dull mystery. By the time you get to the end you reach a point of “who cares any longer.” Also, Bundle is also not an especially interesting detective, which is why she likely only appears in two books.

Unless you’re reading the entire Christie bibliography as I am, you can skip this one.
