louisa1979 's review for:
And I Darken
by Kiersten White
Wallachian children growing up in the Ottoman Empire. Let me start by saying I really missed the premise of this book being a female Vlad Dracul. Maybe if I realised that through the book, I might have had a different experience.
I loved the first part of this book with the characters as children but I stopped being so interested once they became adults.
There were some great points about what true power is and it was quite empowering but I just got a bit bored with the story. Sorry!
