cooperca 's review for:
The Singles Game
by Lauren Weisberger
Let me just start out and say I've never been a fan of Ms. Weisberger's writing. I find it simple fluff in which she creates one-dimensional characters with very little plot. In The Singles Game, it's no different.
Charlie finds herself side-lined by two career defining injuries. She wants to win at all cost and makes the changes in her life to allow that to happen. But soon the story just becomes flat and moves at a snails pace. The storyline about Charlie's training was the most enjoyable and probably close to what the pros endure.
If someone gives you a copy of this book, give it try. Otherwise I wouldn't waste my money on buying it. (Someone gave me the copy I read).
