picture me happy as can be to start my summer vacation with a new Emily Henry book 🥰
now picture me mid and post reading as this book forced me to reckon with my fast approaching quarter-life crisis, the fact that some of my nearest and dearest friends are scattered all over the country/world, and that my chosen family and I are all moving on to different chapters in our lives 🥺
as always Henry’s book is so much more than a rom-com (though it does that really well) and she does such a beautiful job describing those feelings that feel indescribable.
a really wonderful exploration of and testament to the notion that people change, circumstances change, but the memories and the love? those stay. 🩷
