My name is Galaxy, you fucking glutton.

I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I was going to. I think that it has a bit of a slow start, one of those books where you can feel that once they start unraveling the sweater it's going to get good but it's taking them too long to find the starting thread.

Once it finds it though? It's amazing. I was also surprised by the tenderness between Alex and Dawes. I think that so often when you have characters like Galaxy, running from a past and so convinced of their own terribleness that it is easy for writers to not allow them any semblance of comfort or care. But Bardugo doesn't just allows Alex that relationship, but nurtures it. It's really beautiful to have and I care about those two girls so much.
