Meet Cute
by Helena Hunting
Did I pick up this book purely based on the cover and title? Duh! Of course I did. I was even swooning over the simple sans serif font.
This was a breezy, sweet romance with a little bit of heft. It was an easy read, one that didn’t require much brainpower. So while it won't earn a spot on my favorites shelf, I have a feeling many other readers will love it.
However, if you're in the mood for more Meet Cute goodness I recommend "Meet Cute: Some People Are Destined to Meet". This YA short story anthology was such a delight. The stories were as diverse as the authors. It was refreshing to see a collection of stories that included POC, gay, straight and transgender characters. It makes me happy to know that stories like this exist. Not every story was a winner, but I had many favorites.
