This book is was so close to be a five star for me.
I loved the characters and their development (though I wish a bit more time was spent on Bernard as I think he had a lot of potential)
The thing that really tipped this to a four for me was the romance plot. It felt a bit unnecessary to me and I would have preferred a deep platonic relationship instead. It feels like it would have fit the characters better.
The ending was a bit weird but I liked it.
Would highly recommend.
I really need to listen to Noble Blood now
