I don't even know how to begin this review. Can I just say "I LOVED IT, GO READ IT ASAP"
I generally enjoy Sherlock Holmes stories, but I'm not a fanatic about them. HOWEVER, this story was something else entirely. Charlotte is probably my most FAVORITE sherlock every created. She is fierce. Independent. Complicated. Incredibly Smart. She is everything.
The love story isn't what you'd expect from this romance writer. It is a slow burn that will leave you needing more. Don't expect flames in this book, but expect a smoldering fire that will burn a hole in your heart.
This mystery is so intricate and smart, exactly the way I like my mysteries to be. Sherry Thomas takes you on an adventure and you just need to hang on and enjoy the ride.
