The Year We Fell Down by Sarina Bowen
3.0

Something completely different and quite refreshing. A NA college romance about Corey Callahan, a handicap former ice hockey player who starts college and has to navigate a whole new world. And across the hall is Adam Hartley, who stupidly broke his leg in two places and is learning the art of using crutches to get around. Their circumstances bring them together as they figure out how to navigate stairs, and getting to venues that are above the first floor.

It must be noted that there is cheating involved, regardless if it was just for "research purposes". Simple writing, with an interesting aspect. How often does one read a romance with a handicapped character and learn the nitty gritty about everything that they go through? Not often, if at all.

And the secondary characters were interesting and piqued my interest enough to read the next book in the series.
