Can't Buy Me Love by Susan May Warren, Andrea Christenson

“Deep Haven is a great place for second chances.”

I couldn’t wait to get back to Deep Haven tonight!

This story features two outsiders who are hoping to find a sense of belonging in Deep Haven.

Ella Bradley is trying to make it on her own and comes up against all kinds of roadblocks. When she meets Adrian Vassos her life quickly spirals downwards until fate throws the two of them together and they decide to join forces.

Adrian has been trying to break free of his brother’s influence and the hold his father has on him. He’s often misunderstood, even when he’s trying to do the right thing. Running into his date’s sister at a gala event changes his life.

It is always wonderful to meet up with characters from earlier in the series and see how they’re doing. The different authors in this series ensure variety and I love it!

This retooled fairytale is wonderful. Despite knowing how it’ll probably end, there are enough unforeseen twists to keep readers engaged. I just had to know if Cinder-Ella got her prince!

This is book 2 of the Deep Haven series, but it can be read as a standalone. I read it through the Amazon Kindle Unlimited program.
