a book not without its flaws. there's spelling and punctuation mistakes throughout, and at some times loses the pace built up by one POV by moving to another significantly less interesting POV. Tharion and Ithan also felt very mopey and whiney– I understand why, but it got repetitive and annoying when the small flashes of them we got were them being sad and self-deprecating.
however, I did genuinely enjoy reading this. I love the universe and I love the characters too. Aidas, Rhunn and Lidia are definitely my favourites, they're awesome.
The highlight was without a doubt seeing Nesta and Azriel. I didn't know how much I missed them until they showed up. And the TOG references also made me lose my mind a bit hehe.
overall definitely the weakest CC book, but I didn't expect a lot
