Very fun read! Lots of twists I didn’t see coming , lots of interesting characterisation of Lily, that just kept getting deeper and deeper - as well as that of Monica. Never knew where it was going, or if I did, I was jerked in a different direction. Ending was 90% perfect, I was wondering how the real Issue would get confronted but I do enjoy how it wrapped up. Very fun read, lots of details about Lily that make you wonder about her as much as anyone in the book.

I LOVED how multiple times throughout the book Lily’s facial features are remarked on as beautiful but difficult to piece together in a mental image beyond her eyes. I just thought that was a great detail to come from multiple characters. Normally I dislike shifting perspectives but this was excellent. Again I do wish Lily had to deal with the wells discovery but that may have been overkill.
