Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr

5.0

WOW. I am blown away by this. And like with many of my favorites, I find myself at a loss for words...

Bullet review:
- Interconnected plots
- Multiple timelines
- Several POVs
- Power of stories
- Humanity and resilience
- Gloriously written

This book made me cry, gasp, and smile, and feel overwhelmed by beauty. And while each character's journey is harrowing in its own way, the sum of those parts is surprisingly heartwarming and reminded me why I love stories so much!
Bonus points: LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent rep!
TW: Quite spoilery so feel free to ask if you have particular questions
