All Bleeding Stops: Life and Death in the Trauma Unit
by Stephen M. Cohn
Intriguing stories, but these stories stopped too abruptly. That may be a reflection of the job, but as a reader, it’s not enjoyable hearing about a person with dangling eyeballs and the story ends there.
The author’s incorrect view on foreign vs US medical school applicants is irritating. He states that US medical school applications have lowered criteria for US medical school applicants in the early 21st century to increase the physician workforce at the expense of talented foreign medical students. I don’t think med school applications have gotten easier as the years have passed. The opposite is more accurate.
