Christmas wishes by Sue Moorcroft is a story set in winter in both Middledip England and Sweden. It follows the stories of Hannah and Nico, old school friends who bumped into each other again as adults in Sweden and start to fall in love over the winter.
The story was not at all what I was expecting which was a cheesy love story, who doesn't love them? But oh was I wrong! It is a story which discusses so many difficult stories, alcohol addiction, single father, child neglect and a god awful boyfriend! Do we all hate Albin? I know I do!
Despite all of these life problems getting in the way there is a lovely story of Hannah and Nico and of course their love for little Maria (hands down she's the best character)
I rated this book 3.5 stars only because I felt some of the stories didn't bring anything to the book as a whole but overall I enjoyed it.
