Easily one of the best things I've read all year. When it comes to comics there is one major thing I look for: synergy. Vaughn's writing and Staples's art combines so well that it's completely magical. The story as well as the characters created this awesome book that is so strong and enticing. I read this in about 3 hours because I just wanted to know what was going to happen to these characters. It's amazing how much life they have.
This is one of those stories that's so easy to follow but so complex and so entertaining that I was so in love by the end of the volume.
Vaughn and Staples are one of the best creative teams around, on par with Snyder and Capullo if you ask me, and they synergy between story and art is exactly what makes this series so incredibly good. Highly reccomended for anyone to pick up!!!
