アオハライド 5
by Io Sakisaka
I dunno, I kinda felt a little disappointed in this one.
The story is good. It took an unexpected turn when they introduced one person (it looks like) to stay. This feels like a filler, but one with a lot of hidden details. Thinking about it a little more deeply, it seems pretty realistic, all the cliches aside. There are some elements that are "lol I wish" and some others that are "um okay...?".
The characters were good. I can tell that Kou is nearly about to start his character development. Kikuchi is such a sweetheart. Yoshioka is pretty great. Stupid, but great. There is another character introduced in this one at the tail end for the cliffhanger and I already dislike her.
I looked at the anime and have to say, I prefer the author's art style in the manga MUCH more. I feel like it's good. It's just off somehow. I think it's Yoshioka (and basically all the girls with circle eyes). We shall see if I can find out.
