3.5/5
This was better than the last book for me. I think I'll be rereading this series before the final book comes out -- whenever that will be, of course -- and I hope I appreciate it more another time around. The characters are excellent, but the plots... lack something for me. Again, I think I'll see the trajectory of the whole story better when it's completed, but, right now, it just lacks something for me and I can't rate it as highly as I'd like.
