My heart!!! Oh man, there was literally no need for that whole Adrial and Talisa storyline. None at all, except to show how tragic Fey love can be.

Also, still so upset that Shan and Elfeya still haven't been freed yet, but I'm glad there's finally actual hope for their freedom.

Finally, my one question about all this is.... Why do the Fey need to have warriors if pretty much everyone is good? Are there Fey who are honourable but also not banished? If they have free will, don't they commit crimes too? The problem with making the Fey perfect is that it takes away me out of the story. Now I want to know if there's Fey prison! Or Fey men who don't want to be warriors? And who exactly are they always fighting?

The world building falls apart for me because the author has no grasp of scale. At one point she mentions that Rain hasn't been ruler for a long time. Then only says that he was suffering from madness for 300 years... Then what was he doing for the 700 years before meeting Ellie? How can there only be 40 000 Fey? That's the size of a super small village. This world is just way too tiny for the scope that the author is writing about.
