I recently viewed the Amazon Prime series and felt compelled to read the book it was adapted from. The show stayed true to the original story for the most part, but there were a few changes made. I wasn't particularly fond of the ending, as it left me hanging. It's possible that Coben used this as a hook to keep readers invested in the series. At this point, I'm undecided on whether to continue with the series. I may test the waters by reading some of Coben's other works before making a final decision. Overall, I would rate this a 2.5 out of 5.
