A gem of a book in the realm of short chapter books! Interesting plot line, good representation and engagement with social justice issues without ever being preachy (built into the plot well), and perfect for readers who are flying through the very beginning chapter books but are intimidated by thicker chapter books. Definitely will be picking up subsequent books in the series! Likely to particularly appeal to boys.
