As a woman in science, I thought I would love this book. Instead I felt like it talked down to me. Many science references were there to sound smart. It felt like a constant stream of Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory with shoehorned feminism, which didn't feel as such as most of the women in the story felt very two dimensional.
To say this book was a disappointment is an understatement. I didn't hate it but I certainly didn't like it.

Also the sentient dog ground my gears a lot. I am a dog person but despite this, I saw no point at all in SixThirty in this story at all.
