Plot or Character Driven:
Plot
Strong character development:
No
Loveable characters:
No
a non-black author using black slurs in a book is gross. that and some casual homophobia is what we start off with.
the concept itself was interesting but executed poorly and just fails to get to any real point other than misanthropy and cliche boomer-pilled ‘social media is evil’.
none of the characters were likeable. the only non-male character has no real personality and is just put in for a weird side fantasy for the mmc.
casual misogyny throughout the book. and some self insert daddy trauma for sure.
the concept could’ve gone in some better directions but it just seems the author is lacking and falls back on cliche straight cis man ignorance.
