Was extremely disappointed after thoroughly enjoying the first book. The flaws of the MC I excused in the first book have come back to bite me in the butt and are now on complete display. While the MC is in an emotionally charged situation, her decisions are nonsensical, and she constantly backpedals on her decisions. While she came off as a strong, if not typical, MC in the first book, here she is whiny and wishy-washy. Maybe I'll pick this book up again, but I need a break.
