It’s absolutely wild how prescient this is, predicting so much of what we actually saw during the COVID outbreak despite it being finished in late 2019. While being about a zombie outbreak, this really is very much about human-sized and human-related horror. I loved how close and small it was, just following the two main characters (in a contrast to the much broader scope and perspective of something like The Stand).
