koreilly 's review for:
The Einstein Intersection
by Samuel R. Delany
It's aim may be wider than it's reach and the first 100 pages may be a kind of slop shed post apocalyptic tribal anthropological study but gosh howdy if it doesn't all still leave you tingling from the radiation of Delany.
The book is such a wild swing for the fences that you can't hold against it how poorly it all comes together in the end because by the middle point mark it really is singing. I didn't really know what was going on a lot of the time and right as I thought I got my feet underneath me the book would introduce something that confused me so much it cuased me to completely re-think the book's world.
Also it's a bite sized read so a perfect introduction to Delaney!
