The Widows of Malabar Hill by Sujata Massey
3.0

I enjoyed the setting of the story (Bombay in 1921) and reading about people and religions back then. Perveen’s backstory was also interesting.
A murder in a house where secluded women live? That was a first for me and very intriguing.
I can’t put my finger on why I didn’t love the book, though. It was good, but not great—maybe I was too tired to get fully into it, honestly.
