Love Me Again by Jaci Burton

4.0

I really enjoyed listening to Love Me Again. I am a huge fan of reunion or second-chance romances and Deacon and Loretta's was done so very well. I loved that Deacon fell in love with Loretta's daughter Hazel right along with falling in love with Loretta. Seriously some of the sweetest moments in the book were times between Hazel and Deacon.

As one would expect from Ms. Burton, there are plenty of sexy times between Deacon and Loretta. I also loved the family time with Deacon, Loretta, and Hazel every bit as much. I love the family they became and that Deacon stepped up to be the father figure Hazel was missing with her on father. I usually have a bit of an issue when one of the characters pulls back at some point in the book, but I totally understood the reasoning behind pulling back, and I think it ended up making the relationship only stronger.

For those who listen to the audiobooks of the series, there is a new narrator with Love Me Again. I'll admit it took me a bit to get into the story since I'd listened to the same narrator for the first 6 books and I knew all the voices for the characters. However, I did end up enjoying the new narrator and the voice changes didn't take anything away from the story.
