I loved this book, building on straight after the events of book 1 it delved even more into each character and the relationships between them. I loved that I wasn't sure who I wanted to route for romantically and the action and twists were so great. I loved that it made me feel tense but still have lighter moments that made me chuckle. I also loved finding about Tulane and other nations in the world, the world just became richer with the different fantasy cultures within it. I'm excited for the adventure to continue in the next book!
