Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman

challenging emotional hopeful informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

4.5

This book initially started a little slow for me, but I got really into it after the first two or three chapters. The overarching lessons are hard to swallow if you're looking for the end-all-be-all with regards to capturing time, but it's well worth it if you can apply even just one chapter of this book to your day to day after reading. My only other note was I think a written version would be better for absorbing this novel - there's things I missed that I could have at least written down if I had the written novel, but this was the only version available through my work Libby library. The pace of speaking was just a bit slow, I went up to 1:10 and that helped! Ironic, I know. But I do really recommend this if you're struggling with your relationship to time, or just want to walk through the world a little more conscious of where you're taking your life.
