Lord Edgware Dies
by Agatha Christie
I had already seen a TV adaptation of this book, about a year or two before I read it. I kept expecting the solution to come to me as I read more and more of it, but it never did. In the end, I was thoroughly shocked, as I always am with Christie's books. And as always, I felt like I really should have seen it coming.
All in all, an excellent story. The solution was well thought out and did fit the characters in the story very well. I didn't really attach to any characters, as I usually do in Christie's books, but that was okay. Poirot and Hastings made the other characters tolerable.
