It's an easy read but too juvenile to be rated higher. I dislike how he draws from the most well known myths yet somehow the mcs still don't know how to act. Granted they're prepubescent, so there's that. I wonder if I wouldn't known the ending ahead of time (good foreshadowing) if it weren't for recalling the end of the movie.
