I... am not sure how to review this. Initially it felt like a rather typical mystery-romance. Some characters are almost caricatures, so I'm hoping those experiences aren't based on real life ones. (Mainly Cee-Cee.)
What this book did do was snag my attention. I finished it in two days, reading until 4am. I wanted to know how they got separated. Part of the big reveal I guessed, another part I did not see coming.
Seeing the main characters re-meet each other in the present and how they navigate and connect is the main reason to read this, I'd say. May come back to change the amount of stars. Not sure.
