I love Brynne Weaver. If she writes it I am going to read it. I loved The Ruinous Love Triolgy… But I have a feeling that The Seasons of Carnage Trilogy is going to be my new favoite. Cape Carnage is a tourist town with a high body count. And Harper Starling is their golden girl. She is a gardner for one of the older residents. I loved her character. She isn’t really phased by anything and I loved that for her. I also loved her raven, Morpheus.
Nolan our MMC, he is a former fighter fighter turned SAR specialist and a tourist…but not a normal tourist. He is on a mission of revenge. Put it all together and you get a funny enemies-to-lovers story that you expect from Brynne with the antics of you expect. Just reading the author notes in the beginning as usual had me laughing becuase of the commentary she left.
I loved this town. I loved this story. I loved these characters and I can’t wait for more.
BUT THAT EPILOGUE! Brynne GIRL! I know this book is just coming out but I need book two stat! Because this is going to be my newest obession. If you loved Runious Love. You will devour Tourist Season!
