The Black Echo by Michael Connelly
3.5
I have already watched the TV series so I was familiar with Bosch. The writing style reminded me of a cross of Sherlock Holmes and an old gum shoe detective story. It was nice traveling back in time to the pre cell phone era. It’s crazy how much technology we have now compared to 30 years ago. The story was really done. My only complaint is sometimes the flashbacks were a little choppy making the audiobook a little more difficult to understand, although reading it was a little clearer. The flow carried me on a journey and several times I figured out clues before Bosch (including the ending twist).
