I was not prepared to fall in love with “Flirting with Fate” when I began reading. I can have pretty high standards when it comes to romance novels. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying the messaging and the journey throughout. The themes of growth and forgiveness were beautifully depicted, while keeping in mind the flaws that any person has.

I loved the focus on two different poles of sibling relationships. How hardship and loss can both bring you together or pull you apart. The intricacies in Vic, Carm and Ava’s relationship were well developed and well described. I also appreciated the flaws of characters being highlighted, as this is an area that can be left unaddressed.

Would recommend for: romance readers, fans of destiny or fate

Tropes:
-Forced proximity
-Incapable of love
-a Hidden History
-Fated mates
-Coming of age
