Brick Lane by Monica Ali

Did not finish book. Stopped at 36%.
Monica Ali writes with skill; there is some wonderful descriptions of urban solitude, and Nazneen and Chanu have genuine human depth. Alas, I think I need something more fast-paced for the time being. Brick Lane it’s not you, it’s me!
