Like Gemma, I would say that "I felt so mixed up" about this book. Illustrating the psychological state of a teenage girl, while being kidnapped by a person who had already made a little place in her heart, I think that the writing could be more vivid and influential. I also get that the whole book was a letter written by a sixteen year old girl, and we cannot expect a super comprehensive statement from her of her own feelings. Although, it was lively enough to create an atmosphere that, at times, you start thinking like her, and feeling the uncertainty that she had until the end of the letter. However, the book is not just about the narration of an ordeal from the perspective of a teenage girl, it includes a lot more than that. Overall, this book was good and an easy read.
