While I greatly enjoyed the romance of the novel, it took too long for the story to really pick up, in my opinion. As well, I felt like the twists in the book weren't very surprising. While reading the book it held my attention but whenever I needed to put the book down to do something, I found it mildly difficult to pick it back up as the world was not as gripping as I'd hoped.
