Shari did a beautiful job writing her story. One of the best memoirs I’ve ever read. I’m really happy she was able to share her story and that the family is onto recovery. Even though I can’t begin to relate to the abuse, I could relate to some aspects as a member of the church (Visions of Glory, extreme ideas of perfectionism, scrupulously, church culture, preparing for the second coming, etc).
