I have a lot of conflicting thoughts about this book. I think maybe the dystopian genre just isn't for me. It always feels like it's a horror story at the expense of the women in it. I understand that this may be realistic but it's so awful to read. It also feels like almost stereotypical in a sense. While reading this I was constantly like, 'is the ending of the book just gonna be what i think it's gonna be?' and it was. And it was disappointing in a way.
