Loved this debut!
The characters are so much fun. I adore Pax so much. Brent and Victoria's relationship (father daughter) is super believable and very well written!
The plotline and story is really good. It's complex and in a completely unique world/setting/magic system, so you really need to pay attention so you don't miss anything. But in a good way!!
It's non stop action and adventure, and a really enjoyable read.
The only downside for me was that some of the dialogue felt forced and unnatural, but it didn't detract from the plot or my overall enjoyment of the book.
Can't wait for book 2!
