Maybe it's just because I was looking for it, but I can sense a different editorial voice here than previous KR issues. Less self-conscious attempt to be "literary"... more emotionally dark and politically engaged in the prose, more dream-like and loose in the poetry. Almost like a move toward the slightly stranger KRO. "Caduceus" was the story that really stuck out to me: I feel like this one is going to haunt me for a while.
