My Heart Is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones

Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.

This is my second SGJ novel I couldn't get through. I'm not sure what it is exactly, the themes and plot are interesting, but the prose is all over the place and it's just SO WORDY. Four pages to describe a meeting between two characters, that could have and should have happened in a paragraph and a half, was too much for me.

Clearly I have zero patience though, so if you can and do enjoy this series I'm so happy for you! It's just not for me.
