The Appeal
by John Grisham
I am a fan of Grisham. He is typically a quick and entertaining read. However, this book seemed much slower. It took a lot longer to get through this one. I thought the topic was intriguing, and something that I am interested in from a political standpoint. However, this book just moved slowly. The ending was also much more depressing than I am generally used to with Grisham. Fans of Grisham should still consider reading this novel. If you are not familiar with the author, however, please consider one of his other titles.
