Ummmm, this was an interesting read. First off, it is my first memory loss trope, which I do not know if I am a fan of. The main FMC does not have any memories from the past 5 years but this is oddly, rarely addressed in the book. The FMC is also is hallucinating a person who talks to her, but does not know if they are real or not, which the FMC just accepts and rarely addresses. These components seemed like they were important but not explored. Even with the memory loss trope, they could have been explored and I think this book would have been a 4 star. Also, there is very little world-building or character development. The plot was fun and different. This book would be amazing with additional character-building/world building. Audio book is fun and duet style.
