So, I'm starting to think thrillers just aren't for me. I get sucked in, can't put them down, and then around 75%, I start to get annoyed. The end of thrillers seem to always be a very quick cascade leading to the twist, which usually feels unbelievable and then I finish the book and am like "meh."

That's exactly what happened with this book. I guess it's great that I was compelled to keep reading and was curious to see what happens, but meh. I had heard that this book had a solid twist, so I was just waiting for that. And yeah, there was a twist that I didn't see coming (although I never figure out thrillers). This book was good, fine, etc. Nothing against this book in particular, I think this just isn't my genre
